The Covenant Choir
The Covenant Choir, 2008
THE COVENANT CHOIR is made up of both professional and volunteer singers who sing at weekly worship services and other events and concerts throughout the year. The choir sings a wide variety of repertoire from the renaissance to the modern era. Check out our latest music schedule and recording archive for specific examples.
The choir is open to volunteers of all voice types (soprano, alto, tenor, bass). Singers should possess basic music reading skills. Those interested in joining should contact the music director for a private interview.
Paid positions are divided up into several categories: soloist/section leader, student choral scholarships, and chorister. Those interested in applying for a position should contact the music director to set up an audition.
ANN HOWARD HIGH SCHOOL CHORAL INTERNSHIP
In honor of Ann Howard's nearly 60 years of service in the Covenant Choir, the Ann Howard Scholarship was established to honor a committed high school student who desires to participate in the Covenant Choir. The student is selected via an audition process and is awarded a monthly stipend. Those interested in applying for the scholarship can fill out an application form HERE.
